In 2017 while enjoying the beginnings of retirement on the beautiful island of Elbow Cay, Doug came home and told his wife Nancy, he was going to buy a resort and bar. Life has never been dull with Doug, and so with a look and shake of her head, their adventure began.
With renovations, hurricane Dorian, more renovations and an epidemic under their wings they have now expanded to include a coffee shop, Sea Biscuit Bakery and Liquor Store, Turtle Nest Cellars. Joining them on this journey is their daughter Kate and son Hayden. Kate on most days will be found in the cellar with Doug while Hayden is behind the bar helping with the rest of the staff to make your vacation one to remember.
